DivineMates (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based adult advertising directory operating at divinemates.co.uk. We are a data controller under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.   • Profile information (advertisers): Working name, location, contact preferences, photos, and any other information you choose to include in your listing.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration, and referral source, collected automatically via server logs and analytics tools.

  • Payment data: Transactions are processed entirely by CCBill or Segpay. DivineMates does not store, process, or have access to your full card details. We receive only a transaction reference and status confirmation.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account and any listings you publish.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Communicate with you about your account, listings, or support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited content, including the detection of underage content.
  • Comply with our legal obligations under UK law, including safeguarding requirements.
  • Analyse site usage in aggregate (anonymised) form to improve our services.

4. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)

Our processing of your personal data relies on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide you with the services you have signed up for, including account management and listing publication.
  • Legitimate interests: Fraud prevention, site security, and improving our platform, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: Retaining financial records, responding to law enforcement requests, and fulfilling safeguarding duties.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only as follows:

  • CCBill / Segpay: Payment processors who handle transaction data under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance frameworks.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers: Hosting and database services that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Law enforcement and regulators: We may disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of individuals. We will report suspected child sexual abuse material to the IWF and police without delay.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data as follows:

  • Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for security and fraud prevention purposes.
  • Upon a verified deletion request, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

DivineMates is strictly an adults-only platform. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover or are notified that we hold data belonging to a minor, we will delete it immediately and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities.
